My adventures in de-clicking came to a halt when I realized that my attempts at de-clicking were affecting the punch of drum sounds. So I backed off of de-clicking entirely. Unfortunately, this introduced clicking when either the volume or pan was heavily modulated, so I added fast slew limiters on those parameters, which worked great. Clicking will remain a problem when modulating sample start position, or when re-triggering long samples during playback. Eventually, I may try and approach this again from another angle -- that being to make the module multi-timbral.
