Cannot open mayavi2 in pythonxy 2.7.5

1. What version of Python(x,y) have you installed?

2. Which components have you installed (Python(x,y) installer:

    b. I selected the "Full" component selection.

3. Have you selected the option "Customize installation directories"?

b. No

4. If the answer to 3. is yes, what installation directories have you
chosen?

5. Where did you install Python(x,y) itself?
a. default path

6. Have you installed Python(x,y):

    b. For "All users"

7. What is your operating system?

c. Windows 7

8. Is the operating system 64 bit?
a. Yes

9. When you installed Python(x,y), were you logged in as :

b. an administrator of the machine

10. If you are using Windows Vista/7, have you installed Python(x,y):

    b. by right-clicking on the installer and selecting "Run as an
administrator"

11. Regarding installed software on your machine, how did you clean your
machine before installing Python(x,y)  (multiple answers are possible):

    b. i uninstalled any previous Python distribution (including the
official .msi)
    c. i (guess) cleaned the Windows registry by removing all Python-related keys

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1.From pythonxy launcher in applcations menu i selected mayavi2

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

please upgrade to 2.7.5.1 and retest. Also, make sure you use wx as shipped 
with pxy.

I upgraded and retested but no luck.What do you mean by "use wx as shipped with 
pxy" exactly? If you mean the following, i changed it to wx.
Tools>preferences>console>external modules>ETS_TOOLKIT=qt4

When open mayavi i just see a message like "couldn't restore editor tvtk scene" 
and then mayavi goes to windows bar but main windows of mayavi does not appear.

I am not sure about the message because it appears for a very short time.
