Test new labels for top navigation #1730

Open karareinsel opened 4 years ago

As cloud.gov prospective and existing customers, I want to find information quickly and easily on the cloud.gov site.

In order to assess the most effective language to use when labeling the top navigation on cloud.gov, we want to do a couple of simple label tests. First, we want to test the effectiveness of the existing labels used in the top nav. Second, we want to test the effectiveness of proposed new labels and compare those results to the existing navigation.

@apburnes - I heard about this from a couple of folks at 18F. Looks like the kind of tool we need. https://www.optimalworkshop.com/optimalsort/

Working to find out if we can use it.

Survey example

Hi everyone,

The team working on cloud.gov is looking to improve the design and content of our contact page, so it’s a better resource for government employees. We’re looking for volunteers to spend no more than 10 minutes answering a quick survey. If you are a federal or state employee we’d love your input! You can access the exercise by going to [INSERT LINK]. Remember, there are no right or wrong answers, and all submissions are anonymous. We’re looking to gather feedback by [INSERT DATE]. Thank you so much for your willingness to help.
