Blog 1: Draft of why we built cloud.gov is here. @ccostino (because you have the institutional knowledge), can you check over and add to this story when you get time? There is no big rush on this. It will just aid in cleaning up content long term on the site. I feel like there is a lot more we can do and say to make it better and more fully flush it out. I am happy to pair on it as well.
Awesome, I will take a look soon! :-)
@onelittlebecca I have not forgotten about this! It's next on my list. :-)
haha awesome! I mentioned this today in a call! thank you :-)
This is a very nice and succinct summary of how cloud.gov came to be, thanks @onelittlebecca! I've added some suggestions for the pieces that are there; where do you feel it best to take it from here? I did note that the current conclusion of it feels a bit out of place. Is the intention to fill out the sections currently there and add more beyond what's there? I just want to make sure I'm focusing on the right thing(s). :-)
I've added a short list at the top of the draft that includes links to several docs/slides that contain a lot of historical context; this'll help craft a fuller framing of the program, the service, and its history!
I am going to pick this back up either tomorrow or early next week, if you want to discuss a bit @ccostino .
Sounds good, @onelittlebecca! I'll be out the rest of this week after today but if you want to catch up next week just let me know, definitely happy to chat more!
