Track progress on Kibana 101009 #250

In order to demonstrate that we're tracking a vendor dependency, https://github.com/elastic/kibana/issues/101009, we'll create this ticket as documentation,

Make a new comment each month linking to the parent issue, add comments on parent tickeet if work seems stalled.
