Credits goto @maciejkowalczyk9ld from the 'ramencloud' fork 👍 Plz note that I needed to resolve a simple conflict, to have a master-mergeable PR: Compare View of the original fix: https://github.com/cloudera/cloudera-playbook/compare/master...ramencloud:versions_mirrors_override

Motivation:

I need these (non breaking!) changes, to add support for CM6 as a next step

General question to the maintainer(s):

Better to make small/atomic PRs (I like).. that have the chance to get merged quicker..
OR ok to make larger changes/improvements in 1 PR ?
- For this case, same or new PR for the CM6 support ?
