fwiw, the options & naming from the spec were based off the qemu -netdev user options. But it is still time to change it if necessary.

Will this replace the current slirpnetstack CLI, or will it be yet another CLI binary?

https://github.com/rootless-containers/rootlesskit/pull/101 is blocked due to this question.
