Debug level logging still shows queue listening:

Furthermore. After closing the process, workerd hangs and consumes ~92% of CPU. This also happens without closing the process in the case of a larger number of messages. RAM consumption also goes up to, for example 30gB in the case of jobs with 200k messages.

I am facing the exact same problem. In the case of my own code (I have not tried the minimal reproduction above), execution reliably halts around the 70,000ms mark. The queue appears to hang and fail silently.

Are there any updates on this? And @Cosmin-Parvulescu, did you ever figure out a workaround?
