I can PR this repo & http://docs.cloudfoundry.com/docs/running/deploying-cf/ec2/ docs.

@pivotal-vmware will need to update its internal CI systems to add this gem explicitly to the Gemfile.

Perhaps there is now a bigger discussion of "is bootstrap-cf-plugin" the path forward etc? Perhaps this ticket falls into that bucket.

Yes, there is a different stream of work required to update the bootstrap code such that it can be put under CI and maintained better. I'm not sure what that means for CPI's other than Amazon CPI. Needs some discussion.
