Add depreciation notice + Improve doc

Hi Ruben,

As discussed on the S&W booth at Cf EU Summit, here is my PR to add a depreciation notice to this project and (slightly) improve its documentation with things that took me months to understand or discover. :)

As said, I suggest we submit this project for removal from the CF incubator Github org during the next monthly CAB. Let me know.
