Describe the requested feature:

Latex-lab appears to be a great product. What I don't need are those fancy 
UI-features, but rather ability to import most tex files that we have and 
possibility to make collaboration with other people. Now it seems that 
importing stuff doesn't work so well which is a show-stopper for me.

Merging. There is an incompatibility in the current GData API that prevents 
documents created in the new version of the Google Docs editor from being 
editable by third party apps.
