Documents not showing up in "open document" dialogue #198

I attempted to open some old files I made with latex-lab during its release. It 
seems to only display certain files. I noticed some files do however still show 
up. I do not recollect the time, but perhaps this coincides with the html5 docs 
role-out?

This is more of a heads up I guess than an error as I presume it to be a matter 
of doc format.

I ran into the same problem, it was platform and browser independent (Windows 
XP, Vista and 7, various Linux distros and IE, FF and Chrome). 

I found that by opening the old file from Google Docs and making any edit (like 
a harmless space) and saving the document made it visible from Latex-lab again.

I have no idea what causes this, it seems completely random, but the files 
don't have to be excessively old; this has happened with files that are only a 
week old!

Not only are some/many files not listed in Open->All Documents, some/many 
folders are not. Which are not seems random.

I hope this problem will be rate as "Priority" because it has been the cause 
why I can not use this excellent service. I need to include pictures and I can 
not found this pictures in my Google library.

The workaround in Comment 1 worked for me.
However, it's a bad bug that has to be taken care of in this wonderful web 
service!
