save pdf to google docs #26

Pop-up blockers prevent the exported pdf's to be viewed. In Google Chrome
it doesn't even work when the pop-up blocker is disabled.
I think the exported pdf should directly be saved to the same google docs
directory where the source is located, which is the natural behavior.

I like the idea of saving the PDF to Google Docs, though i think it should be
optional. The popup issue will be resolved shortly by adding an intermediate
dialog -
this dialog can optionally allow the user to upload the output file to Google
Docs.

great! You can make it optional but I strongly advocate that the default
setting should
be to save directly where the source is when exported. It should also overwrite
the
previous pdf if it is exported again.

hi - see http://code.google.com/p/latex-lab/issues/detail?id=35 providing
another argument for saving the
PDFs directly to google docs. thanks!

Yes I also think the idea saving to google docs is quite natural and was rather
surprised this was not already
implemented. I know several other grad students who would love to manage their
tex files this way for
convenience. Thanks again.
