and they have a list of benchmarks they use for pis, as they do run on pis they likely will run on ubuntu, so i suggest to develop a mechnanism to install them and run them. maybe a cms command such as benchmark or performance is on order .

cms benchmark list linpack
naturally we need the name of the vm such as --name=vm-[0-1]
