Citation for the Cloud-Optimized geospatial formats guide?

Is there a way to make a proper citation for the Cloud-optimized geospatial formats guide? I see one under https://github.com/cloudnativegeo/cloud-optimized-geospatial-formats-guide#license with @abarciauskas-bgse's name, but it doesn't list all the other authors. Context is that I'm helping to draft an academic paper right now, and would like to provide proper credit if possible.

Ideally, there would be something like a CITATION.cff file with a DOI included (e.g. from Zenodo), and that would allow exporting to different formats such as APA style or BibTeX.
