mongoose 4.1 won't start on mac os x 10.9.1 with 'listening_ports 80'

Pretty much it.
Any idea how to fix this?

port 80 is a privileged port. To use it, a program must be started as root.
Alternatively, you can start mongoose on some un-privileged port like 8080 and 
add a firewall rule like this:
ipfw add fwd 127.0.0.1,8080 tcp from any to me 80
