@montesound I'll probably need to remote in and inspect where exactly the "VMware Installer" issuer certificate is installed on your machine. I need to see what store it's located in, etc. It's a custom/fake generated CA certificate.

@TechnikEmpire VMWare comes with self signed certs which I normally just bypass. For some reason I can't do it on this site. Not high priority.

@montesound Ok. There was some discussion for a time about making an interface in the engine that dynamically queried the user as to whether or not they'd like the filter to accept a bad certificate. That's much more easily done these days with new engine, if we want to explore that again.
