Yahoo addresses still do not work well with the mailing list #59

They are still bouncing. Probably still issues with DMARC.

It seems default settings were not propagated to virtual hosts/robots. I made a workaround for now.

Perfect, fixed and it works now.

So the fix for DMARC is that Sympa now changes From to the mailing list itself and configuresReply-To header to the sender. With current setting it just adds sender's name to the From, not its address.

In the future we should probably change dmarc_protection_phrase from display_name to something else, like list_for_name after upgrade to Sympa 6.2.6+. See the release note for 6.2.6:

[12352] src/lib/Sympa/ListDef.pm, src/lib/Sympa/Message.pm:
[#10005][Proposed by Y. Baouch, univ. of Colorado] New
dmarc_protection.phrase parameter values "list_for_email" and
"list_for_name" to give the from field "List (on behalf of SENDER)
<munged_email>".
This will solve the problem reported by several listmasters: If DMARC
protection feature munges originator field, the many mail client caches
such address by replaced display name, and misleadingly associates the
list address with the name of sender.

An interesting side effect is also that senders from Yahoo are getting their own e-mails back because their client does not recognize that this is their e-mail. This might be confusing to some.
