I changed all uses of cloyne.net
into cloyne.org
in our PowerDNS Docker image with DNS configuration.
I pushed our DNS configuration by deploying new Docker image to server2 using salt.
Configured our nameserver entries with our DNS provider to point to ns1.cloyne.org
and ns2.cloyne.org
instead of ns1.cloyne.net
and ns2.cloyne.net
.
Updated server1 and server2 using new Salt configuration to cloyne.org.
I wrote to HE to change reverse DNS servers to .org
as well.
Done.
We have to domain names, cloyne.net and cloyne.org. Initially, I was thinking of using cloyne.net for internal servers available only inside our network, and cloyne.org for external, but it is just confusing people. Let's move everything to cloyne.org and make redirects from clyone.net to cloyne.org.
