For now, the only public tool we've set up was Matrix, it was important as the interest of it depend of the community using it (as it's a network). For Hedge Doc, it's not the same question as it's more a personal and independent tool. I think this could be member only, evermore if there is the possibility to create public editable docs when you're a member. But, Maybe this could be limitant for people using it as teams of identified users for long projects.

Hedgedoc is rewriting a v2, I think we should wait for this new version.

The community version is now clearly detached from the business one. I think it's good as there were to much differences between the official and community version before...
