Huge icons show up randomly #87

Sometimes after I close my laptop and open it again after a break for example, my UI looks very weird. The icons that represent the complexity cover my full screen. Maybe it's a misconfiguration or incapability on my end. If you have an idea what this could be, feel free to describe how I could fix this problem on my machine 🙂

Sometimes a restart of the IDE does the trick, but other times this does nothing. This is why I will probably disable the plugin for the time being.

I'm using Better Highlights 2023.8.7 by the way.

@Ruesa18 I'll take a look, but not sure if I can do anything with it at all, as rendering is done by IDE itself. On which versions of IDE you have that problem?

Meantime you can disable displaying of icon or fully disable display of cognitive complexity in settings 2023-12-12_15-12-09

@clutcher Thanks for the fast reply, I was on PhpStorm 2023.1.2 but I just now updated to 2023.3. If I should still get the big icons, I will get back to you. But I think it might be fixed now 🙂 Thanks and sorry. I should've checked the IDE version as well 🙈

@Ruesa18 That's ok. Thanks for reporting it. I still will try to reproduce it with 2023.1.2 to see if it is IDE bug or plugin bug.

@Ruesa18 I can't reproduce. Do you still have issues on latest version of intellij? What operation system do you use?

Hey @clutcher I've been thinking about contacting you as well in the last couple of days. The bug did not occur again since I updated my IDE. In my opinion we can close this issue again 🙂 My OS is macOS 14.1.2 by the way 😉

@Ruesa18 Could be something specific to Mac, as I'm using Linux. But great that everything is good right now with newest Intellij. Will close this ticket as for now.
