Whole line (region) highlight causes flickering in PhpStorm #90

Hi, when I try to use the region highlight on a multi-line or doc comment, the highlighting stops working and begins to flicker as I type. Single-line comments work as expected.

I can reproduce flickerin. Will take a look into it. @adrolter Do you expect that it would also highlight in doc comments?

@adrolter I found root cause. Will fix in nearest releases.

@adrolter Should be fixed in 2023.8.10. You can reopen ticket if it is still not fixed for you.
