Summary

Using demographics from census data, we should develop a visualization showing bike crash numbers overlaid with important demographics.

These visuals will help enhance our reports. Visuals to consider:

• Number of crashes and median income
• Number of crashes and racial makeup
• Number of crashes and number of bike lanes
• Number of crashes and number of CitiBike docks
• Number of crashes vs street density (I think you can get a street density-like metric out of OSMnx)
• Number of crashes vs street orientation (definitely something you can get out of OSMnx)
• Crashes vs ridership (how many crashes are there per number of CitiBike rides that start or end in an area)

Other

Other visuals to consider (not necessarily crashes, and can be tracked elsewhere):

• Number of rides vs number of CitiBike docks (how CitiBike influences ridership)
• Number of bike lanes per capita/median income/racial mix/other

Visuals can be both or a mix of scatter/line plots, histograms, maps, etc
