Camera doesn't work on Flamingo #7

Whenever I try to use the Camera, I get this error message: "Camera Unavailable - The camera is in use by another app." This happens when no apps are running (at least, no apps are listed on the app manager).

Will it be possible to use the camera on Xperia devices in (near) future?

It depends on your definition of near future. Sony has promised the camera soon which has so far been 18 months.

Something experimental was released a few weeks ago, but it's not yet suitable for general use. http://developer.sonymobile.com/2015/11/18/experimental-aosp-camera-available-for-experienced-developers/

We are close, but how long the last part takes is simply unknown.

Thanks for your answer! I have read this article before and now I think that I understand the problem... So...lets hope that Sony will soon find a suitable solution and thank you for your great work on Firefox OS!

@AdFad666 yes it's unknown, but do we have a way to make a pressure? Maybe we can help? Are they waiting for something specific?

Damned! Not working for Z1 compact (Rhines) snif snif. Need more time or it will never available?
