Some general observations on your Showcase post.

• I like how you've framed the issue of data privacy around what we are giving to the web. The irony is that when we think we are learning from the web, in many cases, the web is forcibly and covertly taking from us far more than we give. Here's an example of how it has worked in the past. Note especially item 4 on the list...they gathered data through a Facebook quiz (a 'personality' quiz). So, we get the results of a 'personality quiz' (that has a close to zero probability of being based in reality), and they get our data that they sell to people intent on destroying democracy.

We are linked to so many people, and this can help create a more realized image of us. If anyone is looking, that is.
