Sign Up Flow is abrupt and needs email confirmation #90

When creating a new account, I expect to be sent a confirmation/activation email to my inbox to make the amount creation safer and limit bogus accounts (using best practices) .

When I generate a new account there should be congrats statement and a call to action to add new content.

We discussed this a few weeks ago and opted to hold off on adding email authentication after the initial launch, right now we are displaying simple success notifications.
