themoviedb API needs to be updated from 2.1 to 3 #97

2.1 does not work

Reply by Travis Bell on Sep, 24 2013 at 10:14AM 2.1 was shut down on September 15 so you will have to update your app to use v3.

the link to themoviedb.org at http://videomonkey.org/Development/index.html just refers itself to the development page My guess is that the app directs all searched through the video monkey site, where the referring link to themoviedb.org has been intentionally broken. Possible a takedown request?

A blog update from the dev just to say that it is or isn't broken on purpose would be nice

A clue ! http://docs.themoviedb.apiary.io It says "http://api.themoviedb.org/3" While the source of VideoMonkey says "http://api.themoviedb.org/2.1"

Travis Bell founded TMDB, so he would know.

Right, I am working on this update now. I've updated the website with this info and hope to have a new release soon
