I had the same issue. It was working fine, then it stopped. Then I reinstalled
and had some password issues which I eventually worked out by getting settings
correct and submitting personal info again to get green light, but still stuck
at dialing. Work had to wipe the phone so I reinstalled and got it working
again briefly, but now back to stuck at dialing.
I am using pbxes.org and a virgin mobile Motorola Triumph.

PS... the call does show up on PBXes as dial then hangup no duration. So I
don't know if this means it is a thing at their end.

I am having something like this problem now. The registered green dot is
present, I place the call, and the green box on the screen immediately slides
down and goes red. On Pbxes, the call shows as a 0:00 duration hangup.
Curiously, CsipSimple seems to have no problem at all.
It is not the 896 issue; I tried "submit & start" on pbxes as directed and it
had no effect.
