What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Call someone or receive a call with the proximity sensor working (i.e.
without activating the "Keep screen on" function)
2. Take phone away from ear, wonder why the screen isn't turning back on
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The screen should turn back on. Instead, it stays blank. Pressing the power
button to turn the screen back on, it requires multiple presses for anything to
happen.
What version of the product are you using? On what device/operating system?
Sipdroid 2.3b on CyanogenMod 7, on an HTC Desire.
Which SIP server are you using? What happens with PBXes?

Which type of network are you using?
WiFi, 3G and EDGE. Happens on all of 'em...
