Holger implemented this in his fork by allowing you to give such links the class "scrollTo".

Unfortunately you have to set such internal links manually (doesn't work with the link list in the editor), which probably can't be changed.

Ooops, apparently smooth scrolling to internal links with target #xxx already works in your version. Sorry, I must have been distracted by Holger's version. I'm closing this issue.
