blastpgp bug #35

Currently, I'm testing kmad-web with blastpgp version 2.2.26. However, it throws an error:

/usr/local/bin/blastpgp': double free or corruption (out): 0x0000000000c81ad0

Has this bug been fixed anywhere? Is there a working version?

Can you give me the input and the exact command that gives this error?

This is in the logs: [/deps/disopred/run_disopred.pl] ERROR: /usr/local/bin/blastpgp -i /tmp/tmp4GXrqX.fasta -d /data/uniref/uniref90 -a 1 -b 0 -j 3 -h 0.001 -C /tmp/tmp4GXrqX_28_14ac0600.chk -o /tmp/tmp4GXrqX_28_14ac0600.blast

The input for kmad-web was the crambin sequence: TTCCPSIVARSNFNVCRLPGTPEAICATYTGCIIIPGATCPGDYAN

It happens every time. The output files appear to be (partly) generated.

OK, I guess I just have to come over to cmbi and have a look at this, as I have nowhere to mount these blast DBs so I can't reproduce it. Will you be there next week?

This was solved by switching to blast 2.2.26
