On windows 10 the location is Start>recently added>GZDoom VR But this only showed up when I used the default installation settings (C:/Program Files (x86)/GZDoom vivedoom0.5.5) It did not show up when I used a custom installation location.
Also when I run “GZDoom VR” from a shortcut with “Oculus Home” running it opens up “steam Vr” Which is free to download on steam using a steam account.
I got it all to work by Running steam. Turn on steam VR. Run oculus debug tool. Run oculus home. Put your oculus HMD on your head. Close oculus Home by using the right touch controller menu button. Lift your oculus HMD up a bit so that you are still wearing it but now you can see your P.C. Screen. Run “GZDoom.Bat” shortcut from your desktop. Choose a wad from the list on your monitor screen.
Regards.
I've followed ALL of the instructions but it seems my CV1 is stuck in the Oculus Rift home screen; It wont switch over to GZ3Doom so I can actually view the game through my CV1. I am running it in the proper resolution and with the +vr_mode 8 command line parameter. I've also noticed in my Start>All Programs>GZDoom vivedoom0.5.5 folder there is no file named "GZ3Doom on Oculus Rift", only "GZDoom VR"
Thank you for your time.
