Hi guys. I really want to buy clipwrap, but it doesn't seem to be playing
nice with my canon c100. I have been using the trial to try and change the
25psf flag to 25p, but it doesn't seem to be happening, so the footage
looks really interlaced until I select "no fields - progressive scan" in
premiere/after effects. I was under the impression using clipwrap meant
that was no longer necessary. Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Chris

Is the clip being identified as PSF in CW?

If so, try a transcode and see if that's properly flagged as progressive. Some apps look at the underlying h264 stream to determine that in the case of rewraps, rather than the quicktime enclosure. That said, we do write special adobe metadata to try to override that - which version of the Adobe tools are you on?

Hey Colin. Thanks for getting back to me so fast. I'm on CS6. AHA! It
doesn't seem to be recognised as psf in CW. Why would that be? It just
says "Format: AVCHD 1080 25.00fps"

It's possible we're not seeing the flag - none of the PSF stuff is standardized, and there are often different firmwares in the wild doing it differently.
Can you send me a sample source MTS? Preferably something with a little bit of motion in it.
If you're willing to send a file, you can use our file submission website:

A file named 00002.MTS has been added to this case

Hey Colin. I had a file with motion on it, but it got overwritten. The
one I've uploaded has clearly visible interlacing (on the fence, the
powerlines, and the church doorway) that disappears when you change the
field order in the NLE.
