1 year ago Tip: vermeld files die niet op de repo horen in een .gitignore file, dan worden ze niet gesynchroniseerd. Een voorbeeld hiervan is het mapje node-modules. Iedeeen kan de modules via npm binnenhalen, dus je hoeft ze niet op je repo erbij te zetten (met het risico dat het oude versies zijn en andere zorgen). Zodra je de .gitignore hebt, moet je nog wel met de hand de oude files verwijderen. Dat kan op github of op je eigen computer met git rm (remove). Dat laatste is het meest veilige, want dan weet je zeker dat je niet op twee plekken tegelijk wijzigingen in je repo aan het maken bent.
