Read NC_SHORT #4

I am using version 1.9. We frequently use the NC_SHORT data type to save 
storage space. I read, that the current version does not support NC_SHORT, 
however sometimes it works, sometimes not. How much does it take to add 
NC_SHORT support to the add in? Do you plan adding it in the near future?

Could you please send a netcdf file with NC_SHORT data where the issue is 
raised ?

NC_SHORT support is implemented in the 1.9 version of the add-in. If you do 
still have a problem using this type of variable, please send a netcdf file 
raising this issue. Meanwhile, this issue will be flagged as invalid.
