What's preventing it from working with coverage 3.4 (other than the explicit requirement for 'coverage<3.4')? I just removed that requirement to test, and it appears to work alright.
I thought the requirement was here for some reason, so I did no test. Doing a release with the updated requirement would be great, so that we don't have to repackage.

This should be fixed in 1.0.5, sorry for the delay!
It would be nice supporting coverage 3.4, especially since this version has binary builds for python 2.7.
