[iOS Bootcamp] Project 3 #1

Project 3 not fully complete.... :(

I'm not going to lie, I struggled with this project. I tried to complete as much as possible before the class as you instructed in your email. I would very much like to stay a part of this class and do not want to get kicked out, it's just been a rough week. Hope you will be forgiving.

Sorry I'm a bit late with the review myself. This actually looks like a pretty solid submission, so as far as I'm concerned you're still in. Your code is well structured and you've got a firm handle on the problem -- which parts did you struggle with the most?

Alright thanks, I appreciate it.

I'm pretty comfortable working with code. What trips me up is switching between GUI and code and knowing what configuration needs to happen where. I got caught on something around wiring up the panGestureRecognizer and getting the events to fire on pan. I ended up burning too much time trying to fix it, I got frustrated and started over (hence "project 3.1").

The second time around I followed the video more closely and got it working fairly quickly. Once the events were firing it was pretty straight forward, I just ran out of time.

If you get stuck like that, and you have time to spare before the deadline, commit and push your code and shoot me an email or post in the FB group -- it's most likely something niggly and small that's hard to spot but is a quick fix, which are things I can help you with. I really don't want you getting stuck for more than 30 minutes at a time on something -- I know we can all grit and push through and problem solve or restart the project if need be, but I'd rather you spent 6 hours moving forwards if you can.
