Date Format #21

This is not so much of a problem, as a feature request. I didn't see a
space for that anywhere here, so I thought this would be the best way to
communicate my request. 

It would be wonderful if the user could define the way a date is posted
when using the "Ctrl-D" function. For instance, the standard returns:

28 September 2008 Sunday

I would rather have: 

September 28, 2008.

In addition, a way to format the time to a 12-hour clock instead of 24
would also be wonderful.

Implemented. ;) But a bit geeky. It will be in the next release.
