Can't run gro #1

When I try to run gro-1.6.0.exe, I get these error messages:

I'm on Windows 10, 64 bit system.

Thank you for reporting this.

I have created a new installer for version 1.7.0. When you have a chance, please try installing the new 1.7.0 exe, and see if that works.

First the installer just quit on its own. The second time I tried I got this: image The third time it installed.

Then I tried importing a gedcom file. The program just shut down while importing. It was a big file, so I tried with a smaller one. It started to import but then I got this: image

Thank you for testing this, and I'm sorry you ran into further issues.

I am going to close this issue, because you were able to launch the application. I will open two new issues for the other errors you found.
