1 year ago I will start with very simple scripts in a fork in harvester itself and we iterate. With basic usage mainly inspired from this set of standalone scripts. Maybe I would do only one with many command line options.
Depending on how this converges we can understand about feasibility of mine help also with more complicated datacards manipulations as @anigamova suggests above. Let's say I will try to have a first set till summer
Extend the CombineHarvester(or CH methods after the CH-combine merge functionality to include:
[ ] Up/Down variation smoothing with simple TH1 methods. Consider various methods, possibly with chi^2 test to make sure that the smoothed histogram is an accurate representation of initial histogram.
[ ] Template binning optimisation.
