All eggs were open/destroyed within a hive. One egg was on top of me already used to hug me. After a while when marines finished off the hive, the egg suddenly got it's sprite back normal (closed, with a hugger inside) and hugged the sadar beside my body.
What's the difference with what should have happened?
Eggs don't regenerate suddenly like that. Unless there is a hugger on top of it to automatically close it.
How do we reproduce this bug?
Unknown.
Got blasted into a egg by a HE sadar rocket, all the others around are destroyed.
After a while, the egg's sprite suddenly goes to "closed" state and then opens up to hug somebody nearby.
