As a result, no single cut can be found for any of those variables, so we will stick to the current preselection,
Understand whether a cut like m(jj) < X, where X > 125 GeV retains enough efficiency for signal, while cutting away a significant part of the background.
Initial studies on the m_X = 700 GeV and m_Y = 100 GeV mass showed that even a lower cut on m(j_1) would be helpful.
