Not exactly relevant yet, but for a slightly-higher power (compared to OpenMV board) platform, the Raspberry Pi Pico Zero 2 W could be reasonable with a camera added on: https://www.raspberrypi.com/products/raspberry-pi-zero-2-w/
Only caveat is that we probably won't be able to run this continuously if our current is going anywhere north of half a Watt.
If we have no idea what our attitude is, the search space for star tracker attitude determination would be very large. Perhaps we can narrow it down somehow (eg. if we know the sun vector/magnetic field strength)? TODO: test out star tracker on micropython board
