Oddly, while every OSM node has a lat and lon, not every edge produced by the native graph transform function in the osmar package contains a weight, so we may need to manually calculate these

Calculate all edge distances after rewiring, based on lat-lon of terminal nodes. Optionally introduce a conversion coefficient to get an approximation of real-world meters
