This hides a mountain of stuff we tried before arriving at this method - I'll take a stab at it, or do you think it's for a different post? (Well, doesn't hide it, but breezes over it - I guess I'm asking if we want this to be a lot longer)

Updating from the 2019-02-19 meeting: discussed @scottbot drafting some more pathfinding text and then we can triangulate what additional data cleaning content to add in

I'll add an additional thought here - I know a lot of work was done in the summer before I arrived and zeroed in on using the unadulterated OSM data, and the post I wrote is definitely OSM-centric because it's the solution we ended up using. I might suggest a post about "things that didn't fully work but that we want to share with you all" would be a great addition that could be read in the series before this OSM post?
