I had to make an account just to say thank you so much for this!!! I got a 458 wheel from a buddy for only $40 and it was really disagreeing with the settings on Forza 5 for my Xbox. I prefer my PC anyway but I didn't want to have to sell this wheel and go drop $150ish on a Thrustmaster that was actually designed for PC. I didn't think I could trick it into recognizing the wheel until you graced me with your file <3
It didn't work on the first try but I uninstalled, rebooted PC, and then installed it directly into the file location where the Windows Device Manager was looking for its drivers (((C:\Windows\System32\drivers))) and it worked perfectly. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND GENIUS!
This has worked for me partially, thanks! It now always detects my wheel and device manager actually thinks there's an xbox controller connected. However, I still don't have input.
