(Alex, this might be for you please?)
From email thread on GO Editors list:

> Thought so too, but microglia really are macrophages (see
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Microglia). Still, looking at the inference
explanation in Protege, could there be a problem here?
> 'macrophage' SubClassOf 'myeloid leukocyte'
> should be develops_from? Something around the myeloid leukocyte/leukocyte
link (which make 'microglia' a direct descendant of 'leukocyte') doesn't sound
quite right to me, but I can't put my finger on it. Ideas?
See explanation (trivial - it's asserted in the genus of the definition)
You could put something on the CL tracker, I'm sure Alex (cc'd) can give a
detailed answer (or fix if wrong)
For what it's worth, I think the textual definition is problematic:
"A mononuclear phagocyte present in variety of tissues, typically
differentiated from monocytes, capable of phagocytosing a variety of
extracellular particulate material, including immune complexes, microorganisms,
and dead cells."

Paola
