DINTO Prefix/Domain creation request

Dear OBO Foundry committee,

At the Advanced Database Group (LaBDa) (University Carlos III of Madrid) we 
have been working on a new biomedical ontology: the Drug-drug Interaction 
Ontology (DINTO). 

As a first step to join the OBO Foundry community we would like to reserve the 
name space for “The Drug-drug Interaction Ontology" with abbreviation of 
"DINTO".

Required information is described below:

- Title: The Drug-drug Interaction Ontology
- Short description: DINTO is an ontology that describes and categorizes 
drug-drug interactions (DDIs) - a significant risk group for adverse effects 
associated with pharmaceutical treatment - as well as all the possible 
mechanisms that can lead to them (including both pharmacodynamic and 
pharmacokinetic DDI mechanisms).

If you want to request creation of a PURL domain, please indicate your PURL 
user name as well: herrerozazo

Finally, the id policy at http://obofoundry.org/id-policy.shtml states "A
registry of allocated IDSPACEs will be maintained. Requests for an IDSPACE
should be made by sending mail to obo-discuss@lists.sourceforge.net, cc
obo-admin@fruitfly.org. A request should include information about the
ontology, such as scope and maintainer and a confirmation that the ontology
is open access."

*ONLY* requests that have been sent out on obo-discuss will be acted upon.

I'm trying to get a batch of domain requests addressed. Can I go ahead and add 
DINTO?

I was just wondering if there is any updates on the domain request for DINTO.

Hi Maria,

Apologies for the delay - we are hoping to hear back from PURL re domain 
creation soon and then proceed with the prefix registration hopefully in the 
upcoming 2 weeks.

Dear OBO Foundry members,

I've seen that the title for DINTO in the OBO Foundry website is wrong. It 
appears as “The Ontology of Genes and Genomes”, instead of “The Drug-drug 
Interaction Ontology”. Could you help me to solve this issue?
