Feature Requests #31

  1. Possible to enable multiple characters on command prefixes on IRC side. At the moment, a command prefix like "@SMP" doesn't work.
  2. To have an IRC command that sends a chat message to a chosen server that overrides the irc-chat perm if it is off . I have multiple bots in one IRC channel to make it easier to monitor each server and selectively talk to individual servers if needed

Question about your first request: Did you try to set this in your bot yml?

command-prefix: '@'

A single character prefix works fine but i want the prefix to be multiple characters. eg: "@SMP" It's a minor request in the grand scheme of things.

The idea is if I had multiple bots in one channel have then issue commands a bot called SMP and the prefix was "@SMP" it makes sense from a usability point of view and ties in with my second request

Hope that made sense!

I just uploaded a test version that has these features. The command prefix can now be any length. To oevrride the irc-chat you can use @ochat command type. It works the same way as @chat but it ognores the irc-chat option. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30679730/dist/PurpleIRC.jar
