https://github.com/kgrvamsi/kubernetes-production-setup (working on this to add standards that industry is using and test some of the new tools across the K8 eco-system)

The project is more to try how fast we can build a cluster and test some of the Plugins (CNI/CSI)

Yes it is Open Source.

What kind of machines and how many do you expect to use (see: https://www.packet.com/bare-metal/)?

https://www.packet.com/cloud/servers/x1-small/ I would need like 15 machines to test with Minimal Req for what K8 control plane can be happy with.

What OS and networking are you planning to use (see: https://support.packet.com/kb/articles/supported-operating-systems)?

Ubuntu 16.04 LTS

Any other relevant details we should know about?

Not for now but would add more details to the same ticket if i have interesting ideas in mind.
